MT and MO messaging
HotSMS transmits MT (mobile terminated – outgoing messages) in 150 countries around the world and is able to receive MO (mobile originated – incoming messages) on a dedicated long number or a unique shared short code.

In addition to normal text messaging, the HotSMS infrastructure also supports MT push messages using WAP, picture SMS, vCards, OTA (over-the-air) and flash messages, EMS, MMS and so forth.

MMS MT and MO messaging
Although MMS is still hardly ever used for mobile marketing campaigns, it is possible to transmit bulk MMS messages.

HotSMS also offers the option of a dedicated 06 number connection, to which MMS messages can be sent by all mobile phone operators. In this case these MMS messages are forwarded, with the result that they can be placed on a website, for example.
