Background

The target group of people of 16 to 30 years of age in selected cities was requested by direct SMS messaging to register with a local Dactylo office. All that was needed to do so was to transmit the key word ‘JOB’ to 4411 in return. Because the region and office had been matched beforehand, the response (name, address and place) could be e-mailed immediately to the office manager.

 

Outcome

More than 20,000 people received a direct SMS message and 0.7% of them responded and registered.
